Artificial insermination is known to be an effective method of promoting reproduction, which is widely used in the treatment for subinfertility  and infertility couples  in order to provide many opportunities for these couples become father and mother.

In the past, when science and technology in medical issues still limited, most of the infertile cases were blamed to woman and they always considered as “non-reproductive women”. This method is indicated for men who have ejaculation failure [ because of diabetes, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury and retrograde ejaculation, psychological, low sperm count, poor sperm quality, anti sperm anti bodies. It also indicates for women who have  mild endometriosis,  cervical mucus hostility and some combined factor such as: Unexplained infertility, Indication for Donor Insemination[DI]

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a process of fertilization where an egg is combined with sperm outside the body, in vitro. The fertilized egg undergoes embryo culture for 2–5 days and is then transferred to the uterus with the intention of establishing a successful pregnancy. Subjects of In vitro fertilization treatment include infertility subjects who have IVF and IVF/ICSI indication. In-vitro fertilization is often used as a “last hope” treatment for infertility couples because of the high tech requirements, modern medical equipment and but high costs.

In addition, the rates of miscarriage, premature birth from IVF treatment are higher than natural fertilization. Many studies have shown that children born with IVF treatment their brain and body development may be less likely than children born with natural fertilization.

It can be seen that the method IVF/ICSI (Intra cytoplast sperm injection – ICSI) is one of the effective methods of fertility support and has many advantages. Therefore, this is also the first method of assisted reproduction in the treatment process.

If you and your partner have sex regularly without use any contraceptive method for one year that are still not pregnant, you and your partner are at risk for infertility. The infertility treatments now have several methods with more effectiveness if the couples go to see infertility clinic soon.
